Private BeachesA DAY OUT FROM YOUR HOTEL
Day Passes from Majestic Colonial Punta Cana
Colonial is a separately named Majestic hotel, not another way to select Elegance or Mirage. Confirm your actual stay before arranging an outing: Majestic's current homepage carries a renovation-related travel-unavailability notice through 11 November 2026.
WHAT MATTERS FOR THIS PARTICULAR STAY
Before adding another paid day.
- Separate Colonial hotel identity with renovation-date qualification
- All-ages Family Section and distinct adults-only Colonial Club
- Confirmed operator Arena Gorda pickup assignment
These points describe the departure accommodation and explain the comparison below. They are not inclusions at the onward venue. Read the property sources and review scope.
Choose the change of scene you want.
For a beach-and-consumption outing, compare Playa Blanca first. For a hotel setting, compare The Westin and confirm the specific visitor facilities you want to use. These are our own sale packages; neither should be assumed to include unlimited food and drinks.

Confirm the reservation through the renovation transition
The brand homepage currently states that Colonial is unavailable for travel from 6 April through 11 November 2026. Earlier search descriptions can give different reopening wording. Obtain the latest dated confirmation from Majestic rather than treating an announcement as live availability. This departure guide identifies a hotel for a confirmed stay; it does not promise that the property or each renovated facility operates on your chosen date.
Family Section and Colonial Club are different starting experiences
Majestic's inclusions page distinguishes an all-ages Family Section from adults-only Club areas. Check the actual category on your reservation before comparing an outside venue. Do not apply Club exclusivity to the entire hotel, and do not assume a Playa Blanca lunch or Westin visitor package preserves that age restriction. A promised new attraction is also not a substitute for checking today's operating facilities.
Compare the extra lunch against the day already paid for
Choose Playa Blanca for a different restaurant-led beach setting with the stated consumption allowance. Evaluate Westin through the facilities specifically confirmed for visitors. If the family is interested in water activities or a Club guest wants seclusion, ask whether the onward experience meets that exact aim before paying another admission. Your overnight meal plan and the destination's credit remain separate products.
Colonial has its own Arena Gorda collection
The official property location is Carretera El Macao–Arena Gorda, and the operator's Colonial transfer listing assigns Arena Gorda. Our local day-pass model uses that configured fare without an airport detour. Preserve Colonial and any current hotel meeting instructions. Friends at Elegance or Mirage, child seats, extra waiting and additional collections must be declared and agreed; a shared Majestic name does not include them automatically.

Your questions, answered.
01Does this guide guarantee Colonial has reopened?+
No. Confirm your actual reservation and the latest operating notice with Majestic, particularly around the renovation dates.
02Can Colonial Club guests select Elegance Club instead?+
No. Keep Majestic Colonial as the hotel and Colonial Club as supporting category detail. Elegance is a separate property.
