The former Sunrise hotel URL redirects to Marriott Miches Beach in Marriott's own directory. Keep the current hotel name on your booking in the request and mention an older name only to help reconcile documents. Do not create a second pickup at an assumed Sunrise hotel without checking which reservation and reception are actually involved.
Do not rely on an old adults-only description
Marriott's current FAQ says this resort welcomes all ages and lists children's recreation. Older articles about a previous operator or concept are not a reliable age policy for your stay. Confirm current facilities with the property and assess the onward venue's atmosphere separately; this guide does not sell admission inside Marriott Miches Beach.
Operating dining details matter when comparing value
The official property page advises guests to check culinary offerings and hours with the front desk; some restaurants are described as occupancy-dependent. Compare what is actually available during your own stay with the particular independent beach lunch or visitor package you want. A historical restaurant list does not establish your nightly benefits or the inclusions elsewhere.
The Miches road journey is quoted separately
The hotel's address is on Carretera Miches-Higüey, outside the main local Punta Cana fare assignments. Ask for a route-specific vehicle quote and an itinerary assessment to Playa Blanca or Westin. Marriott's airport information is not a hotel-to-venue driving promise. Admission, transport, child seats and the agreed return should be confirmed together before you commit.
