Marine interests may already have an onsite starting point
Iberostar's page describes Star Camp, a coral lab and a dive center, while marking some activities as charged. Check actual access, schedules and fees before replacing them with an outing. A hotel facility list is not proof that every experience is included.
Do not mistake a beach pass for a snorkeling excursion
Neither current package promises the marine activities listed at your departure resort. Compare Playa Blanca for a beach meal and credit, or Westin for confirmed hotel visitor facilities. If diving or guided snorkeling is the objective, say so rather than infer it from turquoise-water imagery.
Use Waves Punta Cana after the rebrand
The official page identifies the former Iberostar Punta Cana name. Retain both on an older voucher if needed, but do not substitute Waves Dominicana. Selection, Coral and JOIA also require their own reservation identity even within the wider complex.
Protect activity commitments before arranging return
A booked lesson or activity start needs its own timing assessment. Explain that constraint to dispatch and ask for the actual venue-to-hotel journey, not an airport duration. The configured Bávaro fare does not promise equipment storage, extra stops or all-day waiting.
