Adult exchange privileges are not whole-family access
Hyatt explicitly describes adult access to additional Breathless dining, entertainment and amenities. Confirm conditions with Onyx; do not extend that statement to children. A mixed-age family should compare the actual existing options for everyone before arranging a separate day.
Connecting rooms do not determine visitor ticket bands
The official page highlights family accommodation with connecting and two-bedroom options. Those layouts explain group composition, not the child rate at Playa Blanca or Westin. Send actual ages and vehicle-seat needs separately from the room reservation.
Choose a package everyone will actually use
Playa Blanca offers the restaurant-led beach comparison. Westin needs confirmed facilities that suit the whole party. If some adults mainly want entertainment already available through the exchange privilege while children want the home resort program, discuss whether one shared outing meets both needs.
Onyx spelling and the actual hotel remain important
The stable website identifier may retain Onix, but the hotel name is Dreams Onyx. Keep that current reservation rather than substitute Breathless or another Dreams. Agree collections, the return and any additional hotels under the Uvero Alto-priced independent journey.
